Colors for Caring is Monday, September 9th!

Join us in this community effort to show that MISD believes no one should fight cancer alone. On the first Monday of the month, wear a color representing a cancer that has affected the life of a loved one. If you do not have a loved one affected by cancer, September is Leukemia Awareness month.

You can wear orange to raise awareness and support those fighting Leukemia. Leukemia is a type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow. Leukemia occurs most often in adults age 55 and older, and is the most common cancer in children under age 15.
