Keep Your Math Skills Sharp with Timez Attack -
While we at Cross Timbers hope that you are enjoying your summer break, we are anxiously awaiting your child's return. Please remember that keeping up with your child's reading and math over the summer helps make the start of the year easier on everyone. Try to help them engage in reading each day as well as math activities. Please know that each student can access Timez Attack to practice their basic multiplication and division facts in a fun and exciting way. All the student needs to do is go to www.bigbrainz.com
and download the "school paid" option. Follow the prompts to download the program to your home computer. Your child's password is their student ID number and that is the same one they had at their previous MISD campus. Their class will be their graduation year (2020 for incoming 5th graders and 2019 for incoming 6th graders). Knowing your basic facts is critical to success in mathematics and this resource is a fun and exciting way to learn or practice them. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Math Department Head Laura Thomason at firstname.lastname@example.org or our Assistant Principal Tracy Patton at email@example.com.
